GIB Forum
About the forum
A two-day meeting in Istanbul, designed to create concrete business connections between Türkiye and Africa.
Introduction
Why a forum like this?
Trade between Türkiye and African countries grows every year, yet both sides run into the same problem. Turkish producers struggle to reach reliable buyers in Africa, and African importers struggle to find the right producer in Türkiye.
The match that gets lost in the crowd at large fairs is what GIB Forum does at a smaller scale and in a planned way: every visitor states what they are looking for at registration, every company states who it wants to reach, and meetings go into the calendar before the forum.

Our principles
Four principles
The rules we apply at every step of the forum; all of them in writing.
Verification.
Visitor registrations are verified by company and position; participants residing in Türkiye are recorded separately and not counted in the international visitor profile.
Written confirmation.
Services included in a package, prices, cancellation and refund terms are shared in writing. There are no verbal promises.
Realistic expectations.
We do not guarantee visas, invitations, the attendance of public institutions, flights or accommodation; we explain clearly to every participant how the process works.
Balanced scale.
At the first forum we keep the number of exhibitors at a level where each company can hold a meaningful number of meetings.
Organiser
Who organises the forum?

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How long is the forum?
Two full days. The draft flow is on the Programme page.
Is participation paid?
Yes. For visitor packages and stand tiers, fill in the form on the relevant page; the price list is sent in writing.
I live in Türkiye and hold an African passport; can I register as a visitor?
Yes. Just state your country of residence at registration; this is used only to report the participant profile accurately.
Do you help with visas?
We explain the process and issue a participation confirmation letter, on request, for participants whose registration and payment are complete; the visa decision rests with the consulate and we cannot guarantee it. Details are on the Visitors page.
