GIB Forum

Agents and partners

A face in every country

GIB Forum works with local agents and institutional partners in African countries. Visitors get information in their own language, from a contact they know in their own country.

Section A

Country agent programme

Who can become an agent?

Companies and independent professionals with business-community connections in their country: trade consultants, travel agencies, fair representatives, export-import advisers or business-network managers.

What we expect from you

  • Registering importers, distributors and investors in your country for the forum, with every registration based on a real company and position.
  • Explaining to visitors only the written package contents; making no promises on behalf of GIB Forum about visas, flights or hotels.
  • A short status report every two weeks: prospects, contacted, registration completed, proforma sent, payment received.
  • Using the GIB Forum name and logo only as set out in the agreement.

What we offer

  • A written agency agreement

Scope, country, term, commission, payment terms and reporting in one document.

  • Commission

For every verified visitor you bring whose payment has been collected, at the rate stated in the agreement; paid once collection is complete.

  • A unique agent code

You track every registration from application to payment with your own code.

  • A sales kit

Presentation, package and price list, social media visuals and standard reply texts.

  • Briefing

An online introduction at the start of the programme and regular Q&A sessions.

  • A tracking sheet

A shared report showing the status of your registrations.

Principles

  • No payment is taken from a visitor and no binding commitment is made before the agreement is signed.
  • An agent may not promise visas, invitations, flights, hotels or the attendance of public institutions on behalf of GIB Forum.
  • Sub-agents may be used only with written approval.
  • No commission is paid on refunded, cancelled or uncollected registrations.

Steps

  1. 1

    Complete the agent application form.

  2. 2

Our partnerships team meets you online; you discuss country potential and targets together.

  3. 3

The agreement is signed; your agent code and sales kit are sent.

  4. 4

You track your first registrations in the system and share a short report every two weeks.

Section B

Institutional partnership

We work within a written framework with chambers, associations, unions and institutions that want to bring their members into the Türkiye–Africa business agenda.

Who we work with

  • Chambers of commerce and industry
  • Business associations
  • Sector unions and exporters’ associations
  • Business councils
  • Women’s and young entrepreneurs’ networks
  • Organised industrial zones
  • Relevant public institutions (only within a written cooperation framework)

Collaboration Letter

Mutual expectations, in one document

We start every partnership with a Collaboration Letter that states clearly what each side will do.

The institution’s contribution (one or more)

  • Announcements to members
  • Access to the member list
  • Forming a delegation
  • Proposing speakers
  • B2B referrals
  • Sponsor support

GIB Forum’s contribution

  • The institution’s logo listed as a partner
  • Conditions for members, as set out in writing in the letter
  • Visibility for the institution at the forum
  • A post-forum report
